Today's Topic - Overcoming Procrastination
Procrasination can be a torturous thing, at least it has been for me. The fear of the unknown, the outcome, the success, the failure, the judgement, and all the "what if's" that follow. In the movie Grumpy Old Men Jack Lemmon said, "It's not the mistakes you make in life, it's the risks you don't take that become the regrets".
We've all made mistakes and we will continue to make them until we die. It's part of life and how we learn. But nothing ventured, nothing gained, and without risk we will never know what could have achieved.
Nine times out of ten, the outcome is never as scary as the scary stories we tell ourselves and if you have a burning passion inside of you that you want to achieve, the time is now. It doesn't matter how big or small your passion is, just start. One foot in front of the other, one day at a time. Commit to finishing.
What is your burning desire or passion? What is something you want to achieve this this life before you leave? This quarantine is a great opportunity to start.
Love & Light~
