Hi friends;
I recently watched Brene Brown's documentary on Netflix. She reminds us people will judge you no matter what and if you do something big they will judge you even more. I've been caught up doing my own judging of other people and what I've realized is that when we judge others, we are caught up in something we don't want to face. It can also be because we want something they have. It's hard not to judge mean people, for sure but in the world of Zen; the world is as it should be and who are we to play God? Just something to think about.
I invite your feedback and engaging in conversation so I can learn from you and maybe you from me.

Welcome!
Welcome to Here's The Deal! This forum was created to "work your shit". It's a safe place to talk about things that are going on in our lives and how to overcome them. Struggles are real and we all have them. Here, we can know we are not alone.
Today's Topic- Insanity
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result. Some of you may know that one, some may be reading it for the first time but regardless, that behavior does not serve our highest good. I know this because I've done it so many times in my life. I would have to say in my experience, sabotage and being in my ego is what kicks my ass the most. Feeling like I don't deserve to be better or feeling afraid of being out of my comfort zone. I've staying in miserable situations many times in my life because it was comfortable and predictable. Step 1 is recognizing that. Step 2 is being gentle on myself as I try to work through it. Beating myself up doesn't help but if I can learn something new in my behavior that causes me to slip backwards I can then move forward in a solution.
