The Amethyst is quite drab on the outside but on the inside is pure beauty. It protects our energy field from lower vibrations and represents purification.
I use this metaphor because we all possess our own beauty and strength on the inside but we tend to wear the not so attractive outer shell to protect ourselves. We are all a diamond in the rough, it's up to us to tap into that part of us and bring it out for the world to see. Inner beauty and humility is much more attractive than ego and arrogance.
If we want to live in a world of connectedness we need to be willing to expose our authentic selves. Vulnerability is the new cool!
