Every choice we make has either a good or bad consequence and with that; our choices effect everyone around us. It took me a long time to figure this one out. When I was stuck, especially in my addiction, I didn't care what I was doing to myself but I never wanted to hurt anyone around me. But I was. It's like throwing a pebble in a lake, it has a ripple effect. But, once we know better we do better. And, of course there is always the occasional relapse or set back when we make a choice that has a negative consequence. I think it's just to remind us to be humble and remember that we are only human. Every day is a new day to start over and make new choices.
